The BEST presents ever

Well we put up the tree tonight and beneath it we found the best presents ever smiling at us. Who could ask for anything better. My plan was to attempt to get all the christmas stuff out and put up in an organized fashion, but apperently the boys didn't get the memo,
they had it all out of the boxes faster then we were able to get the boxes out of storage and Allie was having a great time going through the maze of it all....

Disney On Ice

I have determined it is extremely difficult to take good pictures of people ice skating! We went to see the Disney on Ice which the kids LOVED! It was alot of fun. Justin was most excited to get a snowcone in a "Bruce the Shark" cup, while Logan enjoyed his cotton candy with Micky ears. Allie wasn't sure what to think about all the noise and lights, but all in all, she did really well. Thanks Lindsay and Roger for getting us tickets to go with you and thanks Nikki and Brett for coming with us. We had a BLAST!

Look who's 3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!

Logan was determined to have an Indiana Jones birthday cake so I did what any good mom would do and put forth all my efforts to make his wish come true. We actually went to Idaho for a baby blessing on Saturday and celebrated his birthday with the Hendrickson's while we were there. I was alittle worried about getting the cake there in once piece. I was afraid the top was going to fall over, but after some reinforcements were put into place it traveled well... His birthday was on Sunday, but since we were returning home on Sunday, we celebrated Logan and Cameron's birthday's with the Colovich's on Monday evening. So not only did he get 1 Indiana Jones cake, but he got 2, with a few minor differences. He loved it! Justin also REALLY liked it and has put in his request for the same cake for his birthday in December. Luckly for me it was an easy cake to make :)

Look what I did !

Kristen and I took our 2 little girls to get there ears pierces today. I had been wanting to get Allie's done (mainly because Derrick didn't think I really would) and just hadn't gotten around to it. Kylee had been begging to get hers done so I told her I would take her. Of course I just talked her mom into coming with me. She was so brave, we had even told her it was going to hurt and she told us she was going to cry, because that is what she saw her sister do when she got hers done back in March. But she sat right down and tried so hard not to cry, even though her eyes were filled with tiers before they where even close to her. Allie cried for a minute, but I thought Lindsay, who also came along for support, was going to cry even more. I'm glad I have a support group! Thanks SISTERS!

Halloween 2008

Here are the pictures of our adorable 'Cheer Bear' and our 2 totally awesome 'Indiana Jones' '. Thanks mom for helping me, or should I say for making the costumes for me. You are the most awesomest mom in the world... It actually ended up being a VERY busy day for me. We started the day by watching the 2 neighbor boys, conner and kayden, which we love. They are both the same ages as my two boys and they all get along great. When there mom came to get them I was needing to go to the store so she said she would sit with my kids while I when really quick. Well, Derrick had both sets of keys in his pocket at work in SLC, so I had to use her car. I returned from there just in time for Cheryl to take the older boys to school while I kept the younger boys. Then I packed everything we needed so we could leave for Heber right as soon as school was out. I finished packing with a few minutes to spare so I ran little halloween gifts around to the ladies I visit teach, since it was the last day of the month, and it was my last chance to get it done. I finished this just in time to go to help with the Halloween party at Justins school. Unfortantely my timing didn't work out so well, because just after school we needed to take the kids pictures in there costumes before we could leave for SLC to meet Derrick, but it took longer then expected to accomplish this task so I insisted that my ride, Cheryl, go on with out me. So instead, Kristen took me to meet Derrick a little later, which worked out better for him anyways. So, thanks to all of you who drove me around all day... All I can say is I'm glad we have 2 cars .... Once we were in Heber we stopped by the Trunk-or-Treat and Grandma H.'s church so she could show off the kids, but by the time we got there most every one was leaving. We then went to Mel's house for a little door to door, old school, trick-or-treating. The kids really enjoyed this and the whole time we listened to Logan singing (To the tune of the Indiana Jones Theme Song) dah, dah, dah, dah, dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah dah, dah dah, dah dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah ..... you get the picture.... We also took some pictures with the cousins up there (Derrick's family) but I need to get those from them and will post them later. All in all I think it was a great Halloween. The kids where happy, I was content eating there candy, and we all had fun..... HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

FREE Scrapbook Stuff

Ok guys heres the deal, there is a Making Memories Warehouse in SLC that gets ride of stuff off and on. Today they have a whole bunch of wooden letters (A,E,F,G) and shapes (stars, flowers, hearts, amperstand, etc.), along with paints, and other cool stuff. The address is approx. 4800 w 1751 s. off of 1730 s. - if you want more directions give me a call or post to me. From Tooele take the 5600 w exit off I-80 and from Provo take the Bangeter exit off hwy 201 (AKA. 2100 S.) They did say that whatever isn't picked up by 4:00pm they are putting in the trash, so you might have to do some dumpster diving. We usually take a couple of cars load them with as much as we can and share with everyone in the ward and family members. But you can do what you would like. Who doesn't like free stuff....

The Outcome of National Chocolate Day

Ok as you all are well aware yesterday was National Chocolate Day, but even though this should be a "Family Holiday" I chose to spend the evening with the Young Women, playing a game called the "Walmart Game" for mutual. This game is played by splitting into groups and each group picking out 10 items to put in the cart within 15 mins. Then the carts are swapped and the opposite team has to put everything back where it goes. The team that empties their cart first wins.... Anyways, after we finished playing this game we decided it would be nice of us to let everyone else that we ran into know that is was "National Chocolate Day". However, the girls (12-13 year olds) were big chickens and didn't dare tell anyone so me being their fearless leader felt the need to be a good samaritan to let these people know. Once I started they also started to get the hang of it. We did get some crazy looks and comments, but the best thing about the evening was after we left Walmart we took them to Maceys to get ice cream cones and the girl working was so excited about learning the it was National Chocolate Day she gave us all chocolate ice cream cones for FREE!!! Wooo Hoo! How awesome is that..... We did have one girl that didn't like chocolate ice cream so we had to pay $ .50 for hers, but all in all it worked out great for us.
