1st Day of School

I can't believe Justin is starting 1st grade already. He is pretty excited about it, but mainly for the school lunch. Give it time, I'm sure that will wear off fast. :)
He is also pretty excited that a few of his really good friend are in his class this year. Yucks, that could mean trouble. Good Luck Mrs. Day!

Then there's my little Logan who starts his 1st day of preschool too. I can't believe how much his is grow up. He is So excited to finally beable to do something Justin gets to do. It is only one day a week, but it still makes him happy. Although when I was dropping him off he said "I'm going to school, huh mom?" "Yep Logan you are." "I didn't ever say I wanted to go to school!"

Apperently he only has a memory when it benefits him. :)

$2 Tuesday at the Gardens

School starts next Monday and I needed to find something fun to do with the kiddo's before we are tied down for yet another long, cold winter season. I decided to brave it and take them to The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point without dad, something I don't like to do (I don't like having it 3 to 1, they gang up on me),
fortunately I had plenty of help.
Kristen and Klay came with there 4 kids and as usually Kortney is my lifesaver. My friend Austin came with her 3 girls and Nikki with her 3 boys. But we were very excited when Grandma H., Aunt Mel, Croydon and Sydney showed up to spend the day with us.

Kally, Kortney, Dylan, Croydan, Justin, Sydney and Logan
We hadn't ever been to the Garden's before. We usually don't make it past the Dinosaur Museum, but today I didn't give the boys a choice and I was glad I didn't.
It was nice spending a day outside with the beautiful scenery and perfect weather.

My 1st Fondant Cake

Kristen and I managed to make this cake for our nephew for his 3rd b-day.
It has it's flaws, but I think all in all it turned out good.
My brother (Dawson's dad) said "how much did you pay mom to make that"?
Ha Ha, he thinks he's pretty funny!

Tutu Twirls

A friend of mine made this adorable little tutu for Allie. Allie being the showoff that she is LOVES to dance around in it like she's on stage. It is so funny to watch. I actually just bought her some purple fairy wings from the dollar store the other day that match perfectly, but I haven't had a chance to take any picture of her all dressed up.
Hmmm, I think I feel another photo shoot coming on....

Freezin' Fun in Bear Lake

None of the kids (Note: the dad's are classified in the "kids" category) seemed to be bothered with the fact that it was 55-60 degrees out side, meaning that the water wasn't much warmer if any warmer while we were at Bear Lake this last weekend. For being so cold it sure was beautiful though. Not only did the kids enjoy the water, but they LOVED the beach. We just might have to go there a little more often.

Uncle Danny holding Nathan and Aunt Jennifer
Sydney, Logan and Uncle Kyle

This is a view we got quite often.
Lovely, isn't it?
The most used sentence of the weekend was
"Justin pull up your pant".
Come to think of it, it's probably been my most used sentence
for the last 6 years...
Aunt Cathy and Iver
Aunt Mel and Janey
Allie, Aunt Jennifer, Janey and Nathan
Uncle Danny diggin' away building some sort of barrier to keep himself busy.
Aunt Cathy taking a turn on the roadrunner
Allie
We had a lot of fun, even if it was cold. We built fires on the beach to keep us toasty.
We even roasted hot dogs over the fire for lunch.
Grandma and Grandpa H. had to leave early so we didn't get to spend much
time with them, but we loved spending the time with them while they were there.
The highlight of the trip was probably the bats that found there way into the house at night. Justin insisted that he was scared and he wanted to sleep in the room with the bats so he could see them flying, but the second he had his first peek at one he was out of there. I don't blame him. There's no way I would have even tried.

Why, Oh Why, would you ever want to be in YW's!

Derrick woke me up before he left this morning to inform me that I had a mess out on the front lawn to clean up today.... I sure love being in Young Women's! THANKS BECCA!
They even thought it would be funny to put snaps (pops) on the porch that I would step on as I came out the door. Luckily I watch where I walk! These are my FANTASTIC neighbors that came to help me clean up. I didn't even ask them to help, they just jumped right in.
THANKS HAMBY'S, You guys are the best!
All morning Justin has been planning his sweet revenge and is pretty set on following through tonight. Revenge WILL come, when is the question...

Potty Time

I asked all if she need to go potty and she ran to the bathroom. She was very excited to sit there, but of course nothing came of it. To bad it can't be that easy. 15 months and out of diapers how cool would that be, especially with another little baby coming soon. Diapers are going to be the death of me.
