None of the kids (Note: the dad's are classified in the "kids" category) seemed to be bothered with the fact that it was 55-60 degrees out side, meaning that the water wasn't much warmer if any warmer while we were at Bear Lake this last weekend. For being so cold it sure was beautiful though. Not only did the kids enjoy the water, but they LOVED the beach. We just might have to go there a little more often.

Lovely, isn't it?
The most used sentence of the weekend was
"Justin pull up your pant".
Come to think of it, it's probably been my most used sentence
for the last 6 years...
We had a lot of fun, even if it was cold. We built fires on the beach to keep us toasty.
We even roasted hot dogs over the fire for lunch.
Grandma and Grandpa H. had to leave early so we didn't get to spend much
time with them, but we loved spending the time with them while they were there.
The highlight of the trip was probably the bats that found there way into the house at night. Justin insisted that he was scared and he wanted to sleep in the room with the bats so he could see them flying, but the second he had his first peek at one he was out of there. I don't blame him. There's no way I would have even tried.
