Allie Einstein

Justin has been begging me all week to put up our Halloween decorations, so finally on Saturday evening while Derrick was at the priesthood session we got them out. I have a little Einstein man that wears these glasses, but this is what happens when I leave the room for a second. Those brothers sure think there funny!

Surprise Friday Bowling

Friday night we surprised the kids and took them bowling. We all had alot of fun! Just as we were finishing up our game the Disc Bowling started. The lights turned off, the the strobe lights turned on and the music began. The kids thought it was pretty cool... We also found out the boys knew how to dance! They've got quite 'The Moves'! When I figure out how to add video footage I will, so you can see 'The Moves' i'm talking about...

Frosting

Does Logan look alittle surprised that I walked into the kitchen and found him eating the frosting out of the container by the spoonful? I don't know how many times I put those away just to walk back into the kitchen to find him eating them again. I'll tell you what, Logan and Sugar seem to go hand in hand. You usually don't get one without the other.... This one sure keeps us on our toes...

Boys and Bruises

I received a phone call from the school today to let me know that Justin had gotten hurt while at recess. She said he had a pretty good sized goose egg on his head and wanted to know if I felt like I needed to come look at it. I asked if I could just talk to Justin for a minute, which was probably not the best idea, because he started crying all over again once I started talking to him. He said the ice was helping, but said it would feel better if I just picked him up early from school. Lucky for him it was almost time for school to get out so I didn't have a problem with him missing 30 minutes of kindergarten. He had the saddest eyes when I showed up at the school and then the tears started all over again. Poor guy, it is still huge tonight. Dad made sure to give him a lecture on 'being tough on the play ground', so the other kids don't think his a wimp, but I'm pretty sure I hear about it for weeks everytime he hurts/pulls a muscle so i'm not sure whose the wimp.... I'm sorry you got hurt today buddy!

Cabbage Patch Doll

In this picture with Allie's little tounge sticking out to the one side she reminds me of a cabbage patch doll I had when I was little. I think my doll had hair though!
Not only did Allie figure out how to spit and blow bubbles this last week, but she found her fingers and her toes. She stopped taking the binkie and has replaced mainly with her two middle fingers, unless I'm trying to change her diaper then it's her toes she wants. I can't believe how big she is getting. She sure has her own personality thats for sure.

She also loves having her 'softy' blanket up next to her face when she sleeps. I went in to check on her and this is how she had found comfort. Whatever works!

Built Tough

We all got together at my parents house to celebrate Cody's 9th Birthday, Dylan's 4th Birthday, Alex's 3rd Birthday and Mayson's 1st Birthday. The kids really enjoyed themselves! However as our records show my boys can't leave a party without going out with a 'BANG'. Logan was on the skateboard and somehow took a face dive on the cement. Thank goodness for bandaids though, they make everything feel better. At one point he had one going across his nose along with the one on his lip. But don't think the story stops there! Oh No! The next day we took Allie to the see the doctor for her 4 month check-up, the doctor walked into the room looked at the scraped on logans face and started asking him what had happed. Just had we got finished telling him the story Logan fell off the bed him and Justin where sitting on and hit his head face first on the tile floor. He just got a little cut on his eye lid, which the nurse cleaned out for him. It could have been worse, but the doctor asked if he need to prescribe a helmet for him. It didn't hesitate to make sure he had one for when he rides his bike, which of course we do! Apparently we need it!

'Surprise Friday'

The boys had been asking for along time to go to Build-A-Bear Workshop, so we finally gave in on "Surprise Friday". What is "Surprise Friday" you ask? Well, through the summer, for some unknown reason Derrick and I started doing little spur-of-the-moment things on Friday evening with the boys without telling them what we were going to do. This some how got labeled "Surprise Friday," which is now something the kids look forward too. Some of the things we have done include, 1 night campout, swimming, build-a-bear, visit Grandma & Grandpa H. and McDonalds for dinner. This has been alot of fun, but I'm not sure we can keep up with this everyweek thing. I think it's going to have to be once a month instead.

They LOVED Build-a-Bear and it was alot of fun to see them get so excited. Logan has to be just like it older brother so they both picked the Batman outfits for there animals. They were very insistent that Allie needed one as well, which I must admit is very cute. Justin's is Turkelton the Turtle, Logan's is Scruffy the Dog and Allie's is Pixie the Fairy Bear.
