FHE - King Benjamin

Logan gave the lesson for FHE tonight on service, so we talked about King Benjamin and the things he taught his people before he died. They had alot of fun with the activity. We created the scene with King Benjamins tower and all the tents surrounding it so they could hear him speak. Logan and I built the tents, while dad and Justin came up with the tower. Justin decided that King Benjamin must have been pretty old since he died shortely after so he made him a wheelchair and the tower and an elevator for wheelchair convenince.

THS Homecoming

Logan was pretty excited when we told him we were going to go watch Uncle Cameron's homecoming football game for surprise Friday, but Justin, not so much. He would much rather be watching tv or playing the wii, which is all the more reason we make him do allthese extra curricular activities. We were a little dissappointed when Tooele lost, but we were even more so when Cameron didn't actually get any playing time this game like he had the previous game. We were out of town for. Darn it! Oh Well, it was still fun to go and be there as a family. The kids really liked the fireworks at half time and the treats from the concessions,

which I HATE buying!

Can it be called "camping"

If the boys still get to watch the BYU game on ESPN?

1st Day of School

I can't believe Justin is starting 1st grade already. He is pretty excited about it, but mainly for the school lunch. Give it time, I'm sure that will wear off fast. :)
He is also pretty excited that a few of his really good friend are in his class this year. Yucks, that could mean trouble. Good Luck Mrs. Day!

Then there's my little Logan who starts his 1st day of preschool too. I can't believe how much his is grow up. He is So excited to finally beable to do something Justin gets to do. It is only one day a week, but it still makes him happy. Although when I was dropping him off he said "I'm going to school, huh mom?" "Yep Logan you are." "I didn't ever say I wanted to go to school!"

Apperently he only has a memory when it benefits him. :)

$2 Tuesday at the Gardens

School starts next Monday and I needed to find something fun to do with the kiddo's before we are tied down for yet another long, cold winter season. I decided to brave it and take them to The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point without dad, something I don't like to do (I don't like having it 3 to 1, they gang up on me),
fortunately I had plenty of help.
Kristen and Klay came with there 4 kids and as usually Kortney is my lifesaver. My friend Austin came with her 3 girls and Nikki with her 3 boys. But we were very excited when Grandma H., Aunt Mel, Croydon and Sydney showed up to spend the day with us.

Kally, Kortney, Dylan, Croydan, Justin, Sydney and Logan
We hadn't ever been to the Garden's before. We usually don't make it past the Dinosaur Museum, but today I didn't give the boys a choice and I was glad I didn't.
It was nice spending a day outside with the beautiful scenery and perfect weather.
